Rocio is a top-tier Tech with some pep in her step! She is a highly experienced Account Executive in Accenture’s Public Service Technology practice with 28 years of experience. She focuses on complex large-scale technology transformations and manages Accenture’s Public Service partnership with Microsoft across North America, leading a global team. Rocio is recognized as a leader with empathy who cares first and foremost about people she serves and leads. Rocio was born and raised in the Southwest Side of Chicago where she attended Maria High School. She went on to attend the University of Notre Dame. She continues to be a woman of strong Catholic faith. Rocio began her professional career at Accenture where each day feels like day one. During 2001 as Rocio was getting ready to travel and lead her delivery team in Madrid, Spain, her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She watched from a distance as God through her doctor and sister amongst many other caregivers including her father and brother provided love and support. Her mom is a survivor, as are many other women that Rocio now mentors at Accenture while they suffer through this illness while working. Rocio is dancing to celebrate the faith, life and courage of her mom, the selfless devotion of her sister, her colleagues and friends who have all faced the challenges during breast cancer treatment. She is on a mission, with Accenture’s encouragement, to support equal access to breast cancer care for all those in underserved communities across Chicago. Please join Rocio on this night in the fun and celebration and if you cannot join in person, please donate to the spirited cause. Prayers and Hard Work promised to all throughout her dancing journey!
