Michelle Mekky has always had a passion for dance and entertainment since she was a child, growing up in a family of professional musicians and singers. She is dancing to do her part to support breast cancer research, a cause she has a personal connection to. Not only is she the daughter, niece, and granddaughter of cancer patients, but Michelle herself overcame ovarian cancer just ten years ago at a very young age.
