Melissa La Valle, an award-winning real estate broker with Coldwell Banker Realty, NorthShore, was born and raised in Glenview, a North Shore suburb, and graduated from Glenbrook South High School. Her educational journey led her to Indiana University, where she earned a double major in Biology and Education Special Ed.

Post-undergraduate studies in nursing brought Melissa to the Intensive Care Unit-Critical Care, where she contributed for 3 years, followed by the Oncology Unit for 1.5 years, mentoring both families and patients through the treatment process.

In 2016, Melissa held the title of Miss North Shore, competing in the USA MISS IL Pageant. In a remarkable two weeks, former Miss IL contestants collectively raised over $17,000 for children battling leukemia, supporting the Ross Foundation, "Warriors for Ross."

Devoted to philanthropy, Melissa actively engages in charitable foundations represented by Coldwell Banker Realty, participating in activities, fundraisers, and efforts to raise donations for over 15 charitable organizations. Her deep passion for supporting charitable causes stems from a belief in the profound impact of helping those in need.

Now, Melissa is honored to participate in Dancing with Celebrities Chicago, dedicating her efforts to support the fight against breast cancer.
