I've come to realize almost everyone knows someone that is effected by Breast Cancer.  For me, it's been both family and friends who have had to fight, some on multiple occasions as the disease returned. I dance for them. I am also an athlete. In my life, a certain truth has been drilled into me- the great moments have come by coming together with others for a cause greater than our individual selves. This is one of those moments.  I am excited to dance and compete in this event. It’s funny, I've played in front of 10s of millions of people, called games with millions more watching, yet I’d be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous to dance! Thankfully, my partner Daniela, who is also closely aligned w/ this cause, is an amazing teacher. She has built me from the ground up as a dancer and I can't wait for us to execute our routine and showcase all our hard work!
