Attending Our Dancing Event: Here's all you need to know to

Dress code is "Swanky Cocktail." This means get as dressed up as you'd like, don your sparkliest outfit, dust off your dancing shoes or come straight from the office. You'll see everything from long gowns to cocktail dresses & nice suits to tuxes.  

The Evening's Timeline: 

5:30pm - REGISTRATION OPENS in the lobby of the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier

6-6:15pm - DOORS OPEN

- Visit our cashier stations to make in person donation “votes” in support your favorite celebrity or corporate MVP

- Step & repeat pink carpet photos

- Food Stations & Cash Bar are open

- Social dancing throughout the evening 

- Welcome entertainment by John Vincent

6:45pm - SHOWTIME & AUCTIONS BEGIN

- Celebrity Dance-Off

- Corporate Superstar Challenge

- Live Auction 

- Professional Show by the Arthur Murray pros

- Dance Champions & MVP Awards

We are a little different from the traditional "gala” in how we throw our party - there will not be a plated dinner taking up time and keeping you in your seats.  Instead, we have food stations for you to enjoy throughout the evening, open around 7:00pm, and beer, wine & cocktails available to purchase at our cash bars. 

All attendees must check in at Registration as there are no physical tickets. All attendees have assigned tables in the ballroom. 

If you purchased your ticket individually, but have an affiliation with a dancer or specific group, we will try our best to make sure you are seated together if we are notified in advance if the event. Those inquiries can be directed to info@amdwcc.org via email.  If someone else purchased your tickets, please make sure you have checked with them to ensure your name is on their table list.

There are no physical tickets for the event so we require the names of the people you expect to join you, in advance. This allows for each guest to arrive individually & then join you at your table. Thank you for helping us make it a smooth registration process for all.  Please email the names of all your guests to us by March 7th, 2023.
