Lee Henderson - Ernst & Young
The pressure's on for Lee Henderson - he's agreed to carry the torch for Ernst & Young, one of our most loyal and generous groups of supporters since the start of our event.  We are delighted that Lee is going to represent this year!

Lee is an Assurance Partner at EY. He has nearly 22 years of experience serving large, multinational public companies, as well as non-public emerging growth companies, and currently also serves as the Growth Markets Leader for EY’s Central Region. Lee's EY path has literally crossed the oceans.  Prior to moving to Chicago over 6 years ago, Lee spent his early years in San Jose and then went onto New York and London.

Lee serves on the Board of Chicago’s Big Shoulders Fund where he sits on the audit committee, and has mentored students in a number of the Big Shoulders schools. Lee and his wife Kim of 16 years have two daughters, Kaylee (13) and Layla (12). He is an avid sports fan, in particular basketball, football and Formula One racing. But now, he's going from fan to superstar (strap on those dancing shoes, Lee!)

Like many of our other dancers from EY over the years, Lee not only wants to do something for the fight against breast cancer, but sadly, the disease has hit far too close to home for him.  When we asked him why he wanted to take part, here is what he said:

"Besides the fact  that this will be incredibly challenging and fun, my challenge of overcoming the fear of dancing in a competition in front of a group of people, pales in comparison to the challenge our mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends face when they learn they are diagnosed with breast cancer.  I have had friends and relatives (including my mother-in-law) experience breast cancer at varying degrees of severity. This is just one small way I can give back and let all those who suffer from this awful disease know that, I hear you, I care, and I want to do something to help. So bring on the dance floor and let my feet do the talking!"

How can we not love this guy... because that's exactly why we're all here!
